Beaches and Lakes, while serving as the perfect venue for a variety of events and recreational activities, can be extremely difficult to monitor for an untrained person. Our Open Water Lifeguards are highly trained and know just what to do in the event of an emergency.

Our owner and CEO, Jason Moschetto, started competitive swimming at the age of 6, eventually swimming in All-Star Meets and Division Championships. He has maintained certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First-Aid for more than 15 years, and worked as a Senior Lifeguard, Recreational Assistant, Pool Operator, Aquatic Facility Manager, Swimming Instructor, Swim and Dive Official, and Lifeguard / CPR Instructor. He began Choice Lifeguards in 2010 with a group of City of Long Beach colleagues, but the company stopped accepting new clients in late 2011 after Jason accepted a full-time position with the Federal Government. We're back in full operation for 2016 and Jason remains very involved in the business. He is a celebrated individual in many respects, and donates his time, energy, and a portion of sales to non-profit organizations that support youth activities, humanitarian efforts, and cancer research.
